Article III -- Membership.


Section 1 -- Membership Eligibility. The qualifications for membership shall be as follows:

Any woman applicant shall be eligible for membership if she has had two complete years of college education at an accredited college and is sponsored by a member in good standing, or

Any woman applicant shall be eligible for membership if she has had less than the required two years of college but has the equivalent educational experience in her career field and is sponsored by two members in good standing.

To continue as a member in good standing, the member must be current in dues, and compliant with the policies and procedures of the Association.  [Amended April 2006]


Section 2 – Associate Membership Eligibility. The qualifications for associate membership shall be as follows:

a) Any man shall be eligible under the same criteria as set forth in Article III.1.a., or

b) Any male spouse of a female member shall be eligible if sponsored by the spouse who is a member in good standing, or

c) Current students shall be eligible while attending an accredited college. ­

d) Associate members shall not hold office or vote. [New April 2006]


Section 3 – Dues.

a) Amount. The annual dues for all members shall be determined by the Board. [Formerly Section III.2., 1998; Amended April 2006]

b)  Payment. The fiscal year shall begin on June 1 of each year, and the dues of all members are payable by October 1. Dues for new members received by the Treasurer on or after March 1 shall be credited to the fiscal year beginning June 1 for the upcoming program year. A member whose dues remain unpaid after October 1 shall be withdrawn from the membership rolls.
