“Journey To Top of the World”
On March 8, 2009 Kay LeClaire turned 60. Two months later, on May 23, she stood on top of Mt. Everest. It wasn't her first time on the mountain. Three previous attempts on Everest and six successful summits to the highest peak on each continent made Kay a veteran in a world incomprehensible to most of us.
Yet her striking success as a mountain climber is but one accomplishment in a life rich with experience; from nursing and competitive dancing to motherhood and a law degree. What moves audiences most, however, is the candor with which Kay speaks about debilitating challenges along the way, daunting goals, and hard-won insight. All of which makes her story relevant, wise, and down to earth—one you won't want to miss.
